Optimization of the power system is also noteworthy. The new generation of electric suitcases generally adopts a modular battery design, allowing batteries to be easily removed to comply with air transport safety regulations; some models can travel 8 to 10 kilometers on a full charge. In terms of exterior design, this year's electric suitcases are more stylish than ever, with many brands incorporating exclusive IP elements, transforming the suitcase from a cold, impersonal tool into a travel companion that showcases individuality.
According to industry research data, the global smart luggage market is valued at approximately $2.04 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $4.23 billion by 2032, with a compound annual growth rate of 10.96%. Continuous technological evolution is propelling electric smart luggage from a "fun" concept into a new phase of "practicality." The widespread adoption of charging ports allows users to recharge their electronic devices while waiting at the airport; smart weighing systems help travelers quickly verify whether their luggage meets airline weight limits; and GPS tracking effectively reduces the risk of lost luggage. The traditional luggage industry is deeply integrating with the smart electronics sector, giving rise to a new cross-industry category. In this rapidly growing market-from breakthroughs in lightweight materials to the optimization of smart algorithms, and from the safe design of power batteries to the development of interconnected ecosystems-electric smart luggage is becoming an indispensable part of the smart travel ecosystem, gradually making the fatigue of long-haul layovers and the anxiety of lost luggage a thing of the past.
